Where am I?

Don’t step on tree roots in the dark!

When one is wearing toning flip flops one should not step on a raised tree root. Doing so could and often does cause great bodily harm. I did such a stupid thing as that last night and now have not one but two sprained ankles! Can’t hardly walk and most of my body feels like a truck hit it. The doctor took forever just to tell me nothing was broken and give me an ice pack.  Both ankles and not even a cane to help me hobble around. Oh well moving on…just slower.

Looking for a house

We live in two RV’s. My husband ,myself , two teenagers, 3 dogs( all over 80 lbs), 3 cats, 4 ferrets, 6 pet rats and 1 leopard gecko. You see DH was out of work for almost a year. That was after being underemployed or unemployed for the 5 years before that. I was working full time but only at a $9 an hour job , so not enough.

He finally got a job but the job was located 8 hrs from where we were living. That was 1 1/2 years ago and we are still in the RV’s.  Rents are very high, but most of all my dogs are not welcome. My dogs are part of my family, I can’t just give them up. Some people would, I’m not one of those people.  So we stay in the RV’s.

Now of course  some would say….just buy a house. Well for some that may be easy. Not so for us. If you have never been unemployed for any amount of time you may not understand this but our credit is shot! I’m scared to  pull a report almost as much as I’m scared to look at my bank account most days. Bad credit don’t buy houses now a days. No down payment , bad credit, =’s laughing banks.

But there is still hope. There is a house  “For sale by owner”. Really nice lady owns this house. It was her parents house and she doesn’t want it now that they are gone. She is will ing to rent to own it which is great. this gives us tie to work on our credit and get her out of the house she can’t afford.

I just pray this works! we so need a break. We so need this house!
